Crime - a more serious problem today than before?
What is crime? When we say “crime” we think at first somebody killed another one. But “crime” does not mean just directly taking a life, but as an indirect consequence of other facts, like traffic with drugs, alcoholism etc.
Before `89 the crime cases weren`t published by mass-media so that induced a feeling of safety through citizens. Now that changed: when opening the TV-set or radio we hear about different crimes: when meeting friends to a beer they begin to relate a newest crime, when buying a newspaper we see on the front page what else than the describe of a crime with all details… We can say that our times the crime is part of an education.
Crime may be against humans, against state, against society.
Crime against humans is the most frequent. This is when a man simply kills another one using different methods.
Crime against state is the high crime, when a man forgets he`s a citizen of his country.
Against society there is the organized crime, containing corruption, traffic with drugs or humans and many other bad things.
Is the crime a more serious problem than before? Yes, it is. And this is a major problem, an universal problem. Where we must look for its roots? The principal cause could be the missing of financial safety which drives to affective instability, bad relationship in the family, then alcoholism and finally killing somebody.
In fact, who carries the whole guilt? Who else than the society itself? Yes, the society is the real culprit. The major changes in the society changed the men, their souls. Now humans don`t think about the others unless if they can injury them. There is a general state of fear which state didn`t exist before. For fighting against crime we must look inside us, we must see the full half of glass.
Yes, the crime is a more serious problem than before and we only can change it.
